The Clinical Supervisor is responsible for coordinating staffing, patient coverage, prioritization of occupational therapy needs amongst all occupational therapy service delivery sites, clinical oversight, clinical development, staff competencies, new employee orientation, student program, and educational activities. In addition to these responsibilities, the supervisor will be responsible for a partial clinical caseload.
DCH Standards:
Current Alabama occupational therapy licensure; maintains active status with license and in good standing with the state board or licensing agency as appropriate. Must have ability to communicate with others and handle crisis situations. Experience as a manager/director or supervisor preferred. Must be able to read, write legibly, speak and comprehend English. BLS Certification required.
