Overview

Responsible for assisting the Director of Development and Project Manager in executing fund-raising projects.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for assisting in the execution of fund-raising projects.
  • Serves as the donor database (Donorview) expert.
  • Manages the DCH Foundation scholarship process.
  • Assist with the DCH Health System employee giving program – “we give”
  • Assist with the production of all communication for the Foundation:
  • Brochures
  • Invitations
  • Announcements
  • Flyers
  • Assist with social media content to send to Marketing
  • Maintain event storage and inventory
  • Assist with office coverage when needed
  • Must have the ability and willingness to work occasional nights and weekends.
  • Thrive in an environment of flexibility.
  • Must be a team player and leader, forward thinker and planner, manage and adapt to change easily, well organized, and self-managed.
  • Must have the ability to alert the Director of Development and Project Manager of any potential problems or conflicts and to offer solutions.

  • Must adhere to all DCH Health System policies and procedures.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

B.S. or B.A. undergraduate degree. Previous experience in an events-related, fundraising setting preferred. Proficient in all current office and software technology, including, but not limited to: Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Must be able to read, write legibly, speak, and comprehend English. 

 

WORKING CONDITIONS

 

Environmental

There are relatively few actions that would serve as an environmental hazard to this position.

 

Physical

L- Light work - Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly.  Able to tolerate prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Must have good manual and finger dexterity. 

Psychological

Daily contact with others, including face to face discussions with internal and external individuals. Occasional Conflict Situations; Responsible for Outcomes and Results; Regular use of telephone.

 

Physical presence onsite. Hearing and vision must be normal or corrected to within normal range. Able to perform the duties with or without reasonable accommodation.
