Our newly reopened Oncology Unit is a 16-bed unit dedicated to our patients with a variety of cancer diagnoses. Nurses in this area have a 1:5 ratio and specialize in the administration of chemotherapy. Our multidisciplinary team of oncologists, nurses, pharmacists, and support staff are not only skilled and knowledgeable, but are also deeply compassionate while working together to bring patients with cancer specialized nursing care. This unit diligently seeks to provide an optimal healing environment for each patient and their family in their unique journey. 

The Respiratory Therapist provides services to adult and pediatric patients.  They provide general respiratory therapy, adult and pediatric critical care, and limited diagnostics.

Provides routine therapeutic services under the supervision of therapist or therapist assistants

The Rehab Care Manager works collaboratively with interdisciplinary and healthcare team members, both internal and external to the organization to facilitate patient care through effective utilization and monitoring of healthcare resources and assumes a leadership role to achieve safe discharge planning along with desired clinical and financial outcomes. The Rehab Care Manager coordinates care and services through the acute rehab stay and across the continuum.

Will conduct assessments to determine the disposition that best addresses a patient's needs; Will provide clinical interventions which best support the patient's stabilization and resolution of the crisis or problem; Work with referral sources to facilitate admissions to the behavioral health unit(s) of the facility.

The Communication Center RN is responsible for coordinating patient admissions and transfers from physician offices and other outside facilities to DCH RMC and NMC. This role is responsible for assuring that patients have appropriate orders and patient status upon admission. The Senior Applications Analyst serves as primary resource for project planning, management and support for software applications. Consults with subject matter experts (SMEs) and Informatics to build, maintain and monitor assigned applications. Manages multiple resources and projects to effectively implement standard systems and services. Participates in identifying new solutions and enhancing existing applications to improve processes and increase return on investment.

Independently performs routine and specialized overnight and day sleep studies    

Coordinates patient treatment plan to include patient/family education, discharge planning, placement and follow up. Conducts psychosocial assessments and provides comprehensive social work services to assigned patient case load.  Conducts groups to meet active treatment requirements.  Participates in interdisciplinary treatment team to coordinate patient’s care needs. 

The Social Worker (MSW or BSW) will ensure patient progression through the continuum of care in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Responsibilities will include utilizing expertise in patient/family assessment incorporating physical, psycho-social, environmental, spiritual, and financial factors to create a sound discharge plan; reducing length of stay and readmissions; utilizing psychosocial assessment skills and crisis intervention techniques to expedite and support healthcare team's work with patient/ family; and collaborating with the RN Case Manager to identify and initiate the most efficient discharge plan to expedite the patient transition to the next appropriate level of care and to reduce length...
