Nurses in this area have a 1:6 ratio and specialize in an interdisciplinary team approach to each patient's specific needs. This unit's staff are experts in trauma but also ortho and urology patients as this unit will provide care to this population as well. Insures proper utilization of resources by recommending proper level of post-acute care on all referred patients.
